Holidu is a vacation rentals search engine that promises to help the guest to find great accommodation.

Answering guest messages


With every booking, the guest receives an confirmation email from Holidu with our phone and email details. When the guest tries to reach us, we will receive this as a message of the guest in our inbox of CM/Gmail or via phone. 

To answering the messages this easily can be done via email via the reply button. 

Booking modification 


In case of cancellations or modifications, Holidu's customer service team will contact us about this. In case the guest contacts us directly about cancellations or modifications, please inform the Customer Service team of Holidu via this email: service@holidu.com
Include in this message, the name, bookingconfrimation, dates and the request. 

The information they send us:

All booking modifications must be registered in Holidu’s system and your Channel Manager. Please inform us of any changes at service@holidu.com and provide the following information:

  • new bare rental price

  • extra costs (charged on site by you)

  • extra costs (charged by Holidu)

  • tourist taxes

  • total price.

    Cancellations


    Cancellations are automatically synchronized from Holidu to your channel manager. If we receive a cancellation email in CM, check if the booking was cancelled in the cancellation policy. If it is not and the guest doesn't get any money back you can archive the email. If the guest cancels in the policy, we need to remove the payment manually out of Bookingsync. 

    This is how you do that:

    When you have the booking in front you will see a little plus sign, please click on that:

    After unfolding, fill in online, the minus amount of the total and in notes the date the cancellation was done. And press save, if all goes well the green line goes away.

    However, in case you need to cancel a booking, please provide an alternative to the client and contact us right away.

    If the guest contacts you directly regarding cancellations, please ask them to cancel their booking through the booking details page on Holidu.
