Formula 1 competition takes place in Zandvoort from August 23th to 25th. Please read below for all the information.
Because of this major event, the entire city of Zandvoort is closed and not accessible by car. It also means that all parkings in Zandvoort are not accessible. Only for accommodations with private parking the council of Zandvoort gives the option to apply for a special sticker. We can apply until the 4th of August, after that we are not able to request a special sticker anymore.
Patricia has asked owners with a property with private parking in Zandvoort if they will be open to apply for a special sticker for their guests. This sticker will grant guests access to Zandvoort during the event days without any difficulties. If the owners are making efforts we need to require the license number of the guests car. Whether the sticker is granted depends on the council, and we cannot guarantee or be held liable for its approval. This is also mentioned in the messages to the guests. So we will do our utmost best, but can not guarantee guests of a special sticker for their car. If guests have a rental car, it is NOT possible to apply for a special sticker by the council.
Marlou & Patricia have been working to get all the correct information of every property in Zandvoort regarding F1 and parking for our guests. Additionally, Marlou has set up Message Templates with information for guests depending their accommodation and booking dates.
Senior Support will send out the correct messages belonging to the correct accommodation and bookings. We have a total of 12 accommodations where we need to apply for a special sticker for the car of the guest. For these accommodations we require the license plate number and the home address of the guest.
When you receive a reply from a guest with their license plate number and address details, please send it to the Senior Support employee who is working that day and answer the guest with a friendly reply.
Additional Information
- We need the address details of the guests where we apply for a special sticker, so if we can secure a sticker for them, we can ensure timely delivery. This will enable us to send the sticker to the guests in advance, allowing guests to affix it to their front windshield before entering Zandvoort.
- From August 22nd at 5AM until August 25th at 11PM it will no longer be possible to go in and out of Zandvoort by car. There will be signs all over the city and around to inform people about the situation.
- The days and times when the parkings are closed:
Parking LDC: Friday the 23th of August at 05:00AM.
Parking De Zuid: Wednesday the 21st of August at 21:00
Parking Fauvageplein: Wednesday the 21st of August as of 21:00 hours - Guests need to make sure to move their car before the above times to avoid any problems as their car will be towed away otherwise.
